MistWall Studio awarded with three prizes in first phase of the Universidad Miguel Hernández “Start-ups Creation Marathon” 9th edition
MistWall Studio has been awarded with three prizes in the first phase of the UMH Science Campus 9th edition of their “Start-ups Creation Marathon“. A total of 12,500 euros have been distributed at this intermediate stage, two of which (1,000 and 1,500€) have gone to MistWall Studio. The twelve award-winning initiatives (MistWall Studio among them) are advancing now to the second stage of the programme, which will help them boost their business and aim their efforts to a financial funding of up to 20,000 euros each, among other prizes.
MistWall Studio proposal was DyBo, a digital board with object-recognition technology for the next generation boardgames, allowing “phygital” (physical-digital) immersive experiences, brought by the hand of their first tabletop game, “Endarth: Covenant“.
The ten awarded companies have received a prize of 1,000 euros each, sponsored by Banco Santander, through Santander Universidades. In addition to this, MistWall Studio won the special 1,500€ prize, awarded by Verne Technology Group, and the 1,000€ award from Cátedra Iberoamericana Alejandro Roemmers, of the UMH’s Cultural & Creative Industries.
MistWall Studio is now opting to the second and last phase of the programme, being able to continue with the development of their business proposals and opting to prizes of 20,000€ each, as well as other awards.
